Custom Design Options
Canadia Co. can integrate a custom emblem into any of our flag apparel designs. Artwork for emblem creation is accepted in any file type. However, files must be of sufficient quality to ensure accurate transfer into the production format. We recommend that all vector files be submitted in EPS, AI or PDF formats with all text converted to paths. Raster files must be at least 300 dpi at full printing size. We prefer that all raster files be saved in the PSD, TIF, or PNG format. Provided a file meets these conditions, there is no artwork set-up fee for the conversion of emblem designs to a DST file for production purposes. Files that do not meet these standards may require some set-up cost, depending on their complexity.

When you are ready to begin your custom emblem design the following sections will provide additional insight into the production process.
Standard Shapes
Standard Emblem Shape or Stock Shield
Finished Artwork:
Finished artwork submitted in one of the recommended formats (vector: EPS, AI, or PDF with outlined fonts; raster: high-resolution (300 dpi) PSD, TIF, or PNG) to be integrated onto any standard emblem shape or stock shield is no charge.
Includes choice of up to eight thread colours for artwork, background and border.
Unfinished Artwork:
Unfinished artwork not submitted in one of the recommended formats (vector: EPS, AI, or PDF with outlined fonts; raster: high-resolution (300 dpi) PSD, TIF, or PNG) to be integrated into any standard emblem shape or stock shield is subject to a base charge of $20 - $80 depending on the level of detail and complexity of submission.
Designs must be modified by our artwork department to meet standards for production quality.
Includes choice of up to eight thread colours for artwork, background and border.

Custom designed emblems are emblems not listed within our standard emblem shape or stock shield designs.
Includes choice of up to eight thread colours for artwork, background and border.

Unfinished artwork not submitted in one of the recommended formats (vector: EPS, AI, or PDF with outlined fonts; raster: high-resolution (300 dpi) PSD, TIF, or PNG) to be integrated into a custom designed emblem is subject to a base charge of $40 - $100 depending on the level of detail and complexity of submission.
Production
Designs will be returned for artwork approval prior to production and are custom quoted based on quantity, complexity, shape, size, stitch count, border and cutting requirements. Emblems are produced with up to eight thread colours with no setup fees, and include a DST file.
Other
- If a design includes text, please specify which font to use.
- Please attach font files for any non-standard windows font that appears in a design with your submission.
- If the specific font style must be matched and no font file is supplied, we will have to manually trace the font. Tracing puts a design into the highest category of expense.
- Designs that involve gradients or colour blending cannot be accurately reproduced and therefore cannot be accepted.
Terms of Service
Artwork preparation costs are payable in advance and will be quoted based on requirements as indicated above. Pricing is provided as a general guideline and is more accurately determined on a case by case basis. Once determined, pricing includes one revision with each subsequent revision subject to a $20 charge.
